I am an Assistant Professor and a Bretzlaff Scholar at Northwood University. My academic pursuits fall within the realm of Austrian economics and the history of economic thought. Specifically, I have a scholarly interest in the intellectual heritage of various economists and political philosophers, including figures such as F.A. Hayek, Abba Lerner, Oskar Lange, Ludwig von Mises, Friedrich List, and John Locke. Additionally, I find the complexity of human behavior as it emerges across various institutional frameworks to be utterly fascinating. This fascination motivates me to investigate both the strict social systems of present and past socialist economies and the spontaneous social patterns that emerged in modern-day market economies.
